Easter and Aunt B!!!

We had a great time with our family for Easter weekend.  It was your first overnight trip and you did fabulous!  You slept well and cooed and smiled at everyone.  We got to spend the night with Uncle Mark, Aunt Dana and Hannah and Hailey.  Hailey held you a bunch and you loved it.  Abigail the dog did not like you too much, but we think she was just jealous of all the attention you were getting. 

Lots of family members came over and Ms Charlotte grabbed you and didn't want to give you back.  She loves babies and adored holding you.  We had a great time hanging out with the Turner clan.

Saturday we headed to Ooltewah to meet the family and play some softball.  Well, at least to hit the ball and maybe run the bases, but no softball for me and you, my love.  We sat behind the fence and watched all of the festivities.  You love being outside, but you don't love the sun yet, so we had to find a small patch of shade for you.  You loved everyone holding you and you smiled and cooed at everyone.  Ruthie Mae got a hit and ran the bases like a wild woman!  Vada Jane showed us her new softball moves in her protective helmet and face mask and Graham displayed his cool prowess on the ball field.  Your Daddy was in the outfield and made sure to protect his very expensive achilles tendon, but no worries, he will be on the field with you when you are ready to play. 

After a couple of hours, the family was exhausted and headed to Aunt Misty and Uncle Duncan's house for Easter dinner.  We had ham and all the fixins and your Aunt Misty held you the whole time while your Mommy got to eat.

Sunday morning we all got up bright and early and headed to church.  You were beautiful in your pink Easter dress and you were perfect during service- sleeping through the whole thing!  Afterwards we all hung out by the pool under the "Eleanor tent" that your Aunt Misty and Uncle Duncan erected by the pool.  I predict we will spend many hours safely under that tent watching all of the kiddos swim in the pool.  Yeah for summer!

After Easter we got a visit from Aunt B!  She was on Spring Break and came to stay with us after making the rounds with Ya Ya and Aunt Windy.  We have a fabulous time shopping and hanging out and watching Downton Abbey.  We love our Aunt B- you will find that she is the one who will play with you outside, in the pool, on the beach in the sand and will get dirty and sticky with you.  It was a wonderful visit, but it ended too soon.  We miss her already!
