Aunt Misty baked sugar and gingerbread cookies and we all helped decorate. Your cousins, Ruthie Mae, Vada Jane and Laural Jean were all on deck to ice cookies and smother little gingerbread boys and girls in lots of sprinkles.

Vada Jane got a very big surprise Christmas Eve- an adorable little puppy, Roxy!! She was so surprised and loved on Roxy all day long! What a perfect pair!! Aunt B was on deck to give lots of puppy advice. Roxy will owe her life to Aunt B's wisdom!!
Christmas Eve was at Aunt Misty and Uncle Duncan's house and was beautiful as usual. Your Aunt Misty makes the house beautiful for Christmas, complete with a tree in almost every room!! Uncle Scott, Aunt B and Aunt Windy along with Ya Ya did most of the cooking (your mommy was a bit sick but also got the pregnant lady reprieve) and the food was fabulous! Christmas Eve we set out opening presents. We always open presents one at a time starting with the youngest to oldest. Your Daddy couldn't resist buying you lots of sweet presents- they made me and your Aunt Misty cry!

After presents, we got our Christmas pajamas on and took our annual picture. You will be there next year!!
Christmas morning we headed over to your Uncle Mark and Aunt Dana's house for more Christmas festivities. Blame your Daddy for no pictures of this event- we will do better next year. They can't wait to meet you!!
